We have Declared a Climate Emergency - Now What?


Now that the government (both municipal and federal)
has agreed that there is a climate emergency, what happens next?  How do we move forward?  Clean Energy Canada has put together a list of questions that might help you answer that question.

Watch this recent update on “60 Minutes” of the U.S. lawsuit that challenges that the government has failed to protect the nation’s air, water, forests and coast lines.

The legal firm Osler’s also feels this can happen in Canada as there are a couple of lawsuits in the works.  

As we elect the next federal government, we should be mindful of the pending legal implications of failing to act on the climate crisis.
